Wonderful in that dark and light blooms are on the stems at the same time. Heliopsis tends to begin blooming earlier in the season than Helianthus and stays in bloom for 8 or more weeks. The following plants prefer at least 6 hours of direct sun each day. Plants may be damaged by vine weevil and sawfly larvae, slugs and snails.
